Please browse here to find books that I think are worth your time.... or are real stinkers. I will let you know what I REALLY think of what I am reading. You might not find the newest and most popular books here, but I would LOVE it if you find something unexpectedly great!

I will indicate on each post the Lexile level of the book.

Ayesha at Last

By Uzma Jalaluddin
Lexile = ?

Ayesha at Last is a Pride and Prejudice retelling set in the modern Muslim community. Ayesha appeared on many "must read" lists for the summer of 2019, so I did. It's NOT aimed at the young adult market, but I thought with its Jane Austen connection, it was worth having in the library. Fun little clean, romantic read. I was delighted with the little connections the author was able to make with Austen's original novel.
