By Lisa Grunwald
Time after Time has it ALL....romance, mystery (a ghost!) and it's a historical treasure. This is all based on a legend tied into "Manhattanhenge". Stick with me for minute.
You are familiar with Stonehenge, right? This is the mystical circle of stones in England. The solstice is celebrated there by those who see a connection to our earliest times as the sun rises precisely through the stone arches.
A similar effect has been noticed in the city of New York as the sun rises or sets between the skyscrapers of Manhattan... hence "Manhattanhenge":
Because Stonehenge has "magical" properties, author Lisa Grunwald imagines what if Manhattenhenge ALSO has supernatural properties. Great concept, right?
The plot revovles around a ghost who doesn't know that she is a ghost until she attempts to leave Grand Central Station. I loved reading about Grand Central and the people that work there and those that pass through there daily. Nora, our ghost, disappears and reappears again and again, leading the reader through her mystery and her romance with Joe, a hardworking employee there at Grand Central Station. Fun read!
