Dear Evan Hansen

Evan is a loner. His therapist suggests that he write letters to himself to refocus his thoughts. So, there are lots of "Dear Evan Hansen" letters out there. After one of these letters is found after the death of Connor Murphy, Connor's parents assume that he and Evan are secret best friends. Now Evan has to pile lie upon lie to hide the initial lie. Connor's parents are already heart-broken. Evan can't add to that.

Dear Evan Hansen was written AFTER the musical. Everyone loves the musical. Lots to think about in this terrific book. Enjoy! Here's my favorite song from the show.
